Alston and Turner spark the Coyotes in victory over Oceanside High School

Old Town High School #6 Davon Alston and #10 Isaac Hayes celebrate with fellow teammates after Alston runs into the end zone to give the Coyotes the 12-0 lead early in the first qtr of the Coyotes 37-6 victory.

Old Town, ME-  On a rare Monday night after postponement from not being able to play the game Friday September 10th due to poor field conditions due to the rain. The Coyotes of Old Town High School and the Mariners of Oceanside High School were able to take the field Monday, September 13th. The Coyotes would find the End Zone early as both Chester Turner and Davon Alston would find the end zone to give the Coyotes the 12-0 lead. Turner would not only have 81 total offense but would also bust out an 80 yard punt return for a TD as well. Alston wouldn’t be far behind as well he would finish up with a pair of scores on 138 total offense recording 80 rushing yards while receiving for 58 yards. He would also have a pair of interceptions as well as a few tackles on defense. 

The Coyotes would improve to 1-1 while the Mariners would fall to 1-1. The Coyotes will next travel to Medomak Valley Friday, September 17th while the Mariners will host York on Friday, September 17th.
