Orono,ME – On a cloudy, raining Thursday August, 19th the Maine Black Bears played host to Sacred Heart University in NCAA Women’s Soccer in front of 368 fans for the first time since Covid.  The Black Bears scored their first goal by Kayla Kraemer to give the Black Bears the 1-0 at the 44:19 mark during the first half. Abby Kraemer Kayla’s sister would score the Black Bears 2nd goal to give the Black Bears the victory. Kira Kutzinki would record 3 saves for the Black Bears. Maine will return to action as they travel to University of Rhode Island Sunday, August 22nd. Sacred Heart will travel to University of New Hampshire Sunday, August 22nd.
