Maine Black Bears Ends Weekend With A Tie

Alfond Arena-   Friday October 22nd and Saturday October 23rd the Maine Black Bears would open up the the 2021 season as close to 4,135 (Friday) and 3,136 (Saturday) fans that returned to the Alfond since February of 2020 to play host to the Pioneers of Sacred Heart University. 

Friday the Black Bears would fall 1-0 as Sacred Heart’s Adam Tisdale would give the Pioneers the lead and which would hold to give them the victory Friday night. Saturday, October 23rd the game would go to a 3-3 tie as Sacred Heart would have goals scored by Austin Magera (1st period 9:54), Dakota Raabe (14:54 2nd ) and Nick Boyagian (8:53 3rd). The Black Bears would have their goals scored by Matt Fawcett ( 7:40 2nd ), Adrien Bisson(10:28 3rd) and Keenan Suthers (16:15 3rd). 

The Black Bears return to the road as they travel to Northeastern University Friday October 29th and Saturday, October 30th. The Pioneers return home to take on Niagara University Friday, October 29th and Saturday, October 3oth.
