Orono Defeats Old Town Coyotes

Old Town's #26 Logan Brown tries to get past Orono High School's #21 Tommy Owen

Orono,ME- Orono High School and their cross-town rival the Old Town High School Coyotes would take the pitch at Orono High School Wednesday, September 8th. However, the Red Riots would spoil any chances that Old Town would have by getting the 9-0 victory. 

The Red Riots would take the early lead as Hashim Wise would put the Riots on the board early. Orono would dominate the whole game however, with Pierce Walston and Ben Francis recording two goals apiece to give the Red Riots the 5-0 lead at half. Walston and Francis would record another goal each finishing with 3 goals apiece for the game. Tyler Kenney and Dominik Ondo would also record goals to give the Riots the huge victory. 

Orono Red Riots will next travel to Bucksport Saturday, September 11th while the Coyotes travel to Caribou Saturday, September 11th.
